We would like to book a Manor House on the Isle of Mull – an old self catering Georgian mansion house on the island set its own grounds – we’ve been there before and is a great place.
It sleeps up to 16 people (14 adults) and is also suitable for kids. It has its own huge formal dining room, lounge etc. complete with stuffed bear and big open fireplaces etc.
For those that don’t know Mull it is an island about a 45mins ferry trip across from Oban and is basically like a mini Scotland.
Oban is very easy to get to - either by bus or train direct from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Car hire from Edinburgh airport for the week is c. £100 (120 Euro). Oban is about a 3 hour drive. EasyJet flys MUC - EDI.
The house is close to the Beach / Coast and round the corner from the famous village of Tobermory.
Cost
The cost for the week per person based on 14 sharing is £ 145 (175 Euro) for the week.
If you stay less than week the price is the same – it’s up to you how long you stay – but basically for the experience it’s CHEAP – and you can live like a Lord and Lady for the week.
If we wish we can also hire in a cook or Do it Yourself as group.
Given the size of the place (the house and island) we can do a combination of group stuff and also you can do what you please – in the house or beyond.
an you let me know over the next 7 days whether you’d be interested and dates that you are available as we need to put down a non-refundable deposit to book the place.
